Everyone Eats Today

Everyone Eats Today began with socks and sandwiches from our founder’s van in 2019. Now, it’s a fully stocked food truck bringing essential items and hope to Tulare County four times a week, serving over 2,700 meals monthly. Recognized as a beacon of hope, our truck delivers hot and cold meals, hygiene products, winter gear, tents, and more to Visalia and Tulare.

Since its inception, Salt + Light has provided over 100,000 meals and 120,383 palliative items, tracked 17,271 volunteer hours, and supported 1,662 individuals.

Beyond food and supplies, this outreach allows staff and volunteers to connect with neighbors experiencing homelessness, hear their stories, and link them to other services. This is the first step in building relationships and fostering a sense of community.

Led by our Outreach Manager and Coordinator, our program thrives thanks to dedicated volunteers and community partnerships. We meet immediate needs while also building relationships and connecting individuals to additional support, cultivating a true sense of belonging.
